Our activities
The main activities of MEGASTAR PLUS Kft. (Limited) are development and distribution of our own integrated accounting and management software. The company also educates and instructs the handling for our software and provides an ongoing support for the users.

Our support activity includes system analysis and pre-organization of work processes, software installation, consultation as well as provision of new program versions to keep up with the latest changes in accounting law.

Our programs can be used by almost any type and size of company from small and medium to large corporations, government and budgetary organizations. Our 25 employees provide a wide-range of services to the more than 1000 customers in order to assist the maintaining of a correct and fair work process while using our product.

History of the Company
In 1984 the early colleagues of MIKROSTAR GM developed an easy to use book-keeping software to C-64 type computers.

With the appearance of PC’s in 1985 a new software version has been developed. It was expanded in features based upon the requirements of our C-64 program version users.

In 1989 with the beginning of the open era in Hungary MIKROSTAR re-established as a Limited company. Thus MEGASTAR Ltd. was born. In the same year our General Ledger and VAT Evaluation program-modules gained the Hungarian "Excellent Product" award.

The first complete integrated system was developed in COBOL, however to keep up with advancing customer needs in 1992 MEGASTAR started to use a new 4th generation DOS based developing tool called CLARION.

Following the success of our bookkeeping software we came up with several other modules (like the ones of Fixed Assets handler, Stock handler and HR module). These modules along with the General Ledger form an efficient integrated accounting and management system.

In the last 10 years we have been working hard to improve both our products and services. Besides doing that we also make ourselves available to develop custom programs in case of unique needs.

Present days
The challenges of the twenty-first century require another step ahead in developing technology. Therefore in the past couple of years we have been working on the recreation of our products -again- under an up to date developing platform: ORACLE.

Besides concentrating on the ORACLE development we still consider supporting the work of our hundreds of users as the highest priority. To raise the level of our services in 2002 we implemented an (European standard) ISO9001:2000 quality management system. Our Company received the ISO certificate after a successful audit in February 2003, which proves that we are ready to serve our customers at a European level.

Since we feel accounting and management systems present an always changing environment, we believe it is essential to establish and maintain a close and professional relationship with all our customers to help them folloe these constant changes.
